MB&F HM9 Flow Road Red Gold

Almost a year after the release of the HM9 series, MB&F unveiled the HM9 Flow in red gold.

Road and Air Flow versions

The HM9 was first unveiled in two titanium editions – “Road” and “Air” versions – with 33 pieces each. The “Air” model had a darkened movement, while the “Road” model had a pink gold treated movement.

Red gold Flows

These two new red gold Flow versions are also called “Air” and “Road” and are limited to 18 pieces each. The difference is in their dials and the treatment of their movements. The “Air” version has an aviation instrument-styled dial and a darkened movement and rhodium-plated dual balance wheels, while the “Road” version has a retro speedometer-style dial, a rhodium-plated movement and dual balance wheels in red gold.

The HM9 caliber

The HM9 caliber is one of only a few movements on the market today that has dual balance wheels beating at individual rates. An average is taken from each via a complex planetary differential that is visible through the central sapphire crystal.

Measurements

The HM9 Flow measures 57mm at its widest point.

Manual-winding movement

The engine inside the HM9 Flow is manual-winding and was created entirely in-house. It took over three years of research and development to complete.
